Abstract

The main aim of the present investigation was to study the impact of computer-aided learning programme (CALP) on Mathematics achievement of 8^th class students. For conducting this study, a sample of 490 upper primary (8^th class) school students was selected by adopting incidental sampling technique. Data were collected from 8^th class students with the help of self-developed Mathematics Achievement Test by the researchers. Means, S.D. and t-test were used for analysis of data. The findings of the study revealed that the students of non-CAL schools scored significantly higher in Mathematics as compared to the students studying in CAL schools. Further, it was concluded that the Mathematics achievement of 8^th class students studying in CAL and non-CAL schools of non-tribal districts was more or less the same. Implications of the study have been discussed in the end of the paper.
