Abstract
The present study investigates the humour style based on gender. The total sample consisted of 30 subjects, which include 15 males and 15 females. The descriptive survey method was used for the present study. Purposive sampling method was used for sample selection. Humour Styles Questionnaire, (HSQ) were used to assessing the humour style of the individual. Results revealed that males are higher in the aggressive humour than females. There were no significant differences in affliative humour, self-enhancing humour and self-defeating humour with respect to gender.
