Effectiveness of Digital Learning Tools in Fostering Personalised Learning, Co-operative Learning and Academic Achievement among Secondary School Students By  Bhakti Gunesh Sawant

Abstract

Digital learning tools are assuming an increasingly crucial role in contemporary education. In an era marked by rapid digitalization, these tools provide a myriad of advantages and opportunities for learners across various age groups. This experimental study explores the effectiveness of digital learning tools in fostering personalised learning, co-operative learning and academic achievement among secondary school students. A sample of 60 students from grade 7 in Chembur English high school participated in study. Data were collected using digital tools such as Kahoot online game, Canva an online graphic design tool and also through traditional method such as pen and paper, chart paper using sticky notes etc. The findings reveal that there is differences in the personalized learning outcomes, co-operative learning and academic achievement of secondary school students with the use of digital tools. This study highlights impact of  digital learning tools on student learning outcomes, various digital learning tools which could be incorporated into teaching practice for fostering cooperative learning, personalized learning, and academic achievement, various strategies to increase student engagement, motivation and create interactive and collaborative learning experiences can enhance student interest and participation in the learning process.
