Cognitive method in the students with learning disabilities are weakened which often have a neurological basis. Mainly these children have the problems in control and regulate their abilities, behavior and academic performances. That is these children have difficulty to switch tasks or change behavior in relation to changing rules. These abilities are known as set shifting ability. Set shifting ability is one of the tasks of frontal lobe executive function. Frontal lobe executive function involves the ability to initiate and stop actions, to monitor and change behavior when as needed, and to plan future behavior when faced with novel tasks and situations. The present study assessed with set shifting ability of frontal lobe executive functions among students with learning disabilities and without learning disabilities. Descriptive survey method was used for this study. The sample consist of 30 students with learning disabilities (M = 15, F = 15) and 30 students without learning disabilities (M = 15, F = 15). Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST) was administered to find out the executive function, in terms of set shifting ability. The findings have been discussed in the light of available theoretical and empirical literature.
